SPECIALIST DEGREE

Program Requirements

The total Specialist program involves 62 semester hours distributed as follows: 50 hours course work, 6 hours supervised field experience, and a 3 credit hour specialist project. The following courses comprise the curriculum:

  • PYC 620 Psychological Assessment of the School Age Child
  • PYC 621 Psychological Assessment of the Pre-school Child
  • PYC 622 Personality and Behavior Assessment
  • PYC 623 School Psychology Practicum
  • PYC 630 Psychological Services in the Schools
  • PYC 631 School Psychology Seminar
  • PYC 603 Child psychopathology
  • PYC 689 Theories of Therapy
